Our first few days in Puerto Viejo, before Shuli arrived were very nice and relaxing. Katie and I had a great time lazing on the beach and enjoying the beautiful paradise surrounding us. While laying on the beach one day, Katie and I began to discuss the difficulties of living in paradise and pretty soon a song started to flow! So here is a sneak peek at one of our hit songs! We hope you enjoy it and even if you don't it is nice that it will be saved up here with our blog for all time for us to remember.

Its so hard to lead such a Costa Rican life,
Everyday we wake up and there is trouble and strife
We have to cook the beans and who will cook the rice?

Hiking through the jungle, beach beyond the trees
Even if we tried to its impossible to freeze
Here at the equator the sun is very bright,
we feel its rays so strongly, even in the night

ReplyDeleteI was singing it to Gordon and his friend Tim as I was reading it, I even remembered how it goes!(not including the fancy background voices and stuff but def the basic tune!). I know what we need on this blog- A LIVE RECORDING! I know Kirby's Mac can do it! by the way, how is the little Mac doing these days? better I hope :)
